Apart from the fact that I found myself in an apartment that I had not booked. Furthermore, I was supposed to stay on the ground floor, instead I had to go up to the first floor via a very narrow staircase. Also, the shower box in the bathroom was too small. For the rest, everything was normal, although I would have liked to find a bottle of water in addition to the fresh mandarins.

Gentile Signora, grazie per essere stati nostri ospiti, siamo contenti che avete apprezzato la nostra posizione e la nostra casa, lavoriamo molto per i nostri ospiti. Come le era stato anticipato le abbiamo assegnato l appartamento al piano superiore separato da circa 10 gradini da quello da lei prenotato poiché momentaneamente in fase di ristrutturazione, la doccia ha una misura standard come si può vedere dalle foto. Nel caso ci siano particolari problemi di mobilità le consiglio di farlo presente in fase di prenotazione. Un caro saluto, Angelo

When I arrived, I could not find the building because it is in a convenient but particular area. I called the owner several times, but he answered me after more than 40 minutes. Then his mother came to show me the way. The apartment is certainly renovated, but it is the basement of the building. It is not very bright, not well ventilated, has a musty smell, there is no signal to make phone calls, and one wall is fake because it is the connecting door to the atrium of the main door where everyone enters noisily. Since it is a sliding door with large gaps, you practically do not feel free to talk, or you are woken up at night by those coming back cheerfully. In short, 80€ per night per person in June seemed too much for the type of house. In summer, with 40 degrees, it is impossible to stay there even if there is an air conditioner. The owner, who did not answer me upon arrival, contacted me early in the morning of the check-out to find out when I was leaving.

The host proved to be a very kind person. We parked at Talete parking and since it is not easily reachable as it is located inside Ortigia, he sent a person to pick us up. Very pleasant room located on the first floor which is accessed by a quite steep staircase. The structure is complete with a kitchen area (which we did not use) and a bathroom with a shower area whose access is a bit tight. The only suggestion would be to recommend the arrangement of the main entrance lock for which we had some difficulty in accessing. Overall, a structure to recommend.
